Wurrak, or Banksia, is recognised for its bold flower spikes and its ability to regenerate after fire. Its tough seed pods open only under pressure, allowing new growth to emerge after challenge. This learning space reflects that process of growth through experience. Students are learning to persist, adapt, and develop confidence when learning becomes more demanding. Like the Banksia, they are supported to withstand challenge, respond to setbacks, and grow stronger as learners through effort, reflection, and resilience.
